Manufactured in Canada for 50 years Buzzbomb Tackle is a leader in patent design and manufacturing of fishing lures.
The beach angler is faced with conditions that are never constant . The angler casting into high winds, heavy rain ,strong waves, or the salmon themselves can make it daunting . The successful angler will carry a full assortment of lures from spoons, to spinners, to heavy metal alloy like the Zzinger.
The Zzingers ability to create sonic vibration and erratic action is never ending to get that aggressive strike. It aerodynamic shape allows it to flow through horrendous wind storms when all others fall short.
All beach anglers have experienced this situation on a estuary. The salmon have started their physical change and stop feeding. We call it lock jaw. They will attack aggressively though anything that they think is a competitor or aggravate them. This is were sonic vibration and erratic action will set them off to bite.
Canadian made on Vancouver Island British Columbia but sold all over the world.
As a beach angler we fish with 13 foot ultra lite rods with ultralight reel. Loaded with only 8 pound mono filament and a 3-4 foot 12 pound fluorocarbon leader to handle the rough abuse the salmon can put on lite lines.
This combination allow us to cast over 200 feet as the salmon is often not holding in one spot.
Fishing the shallow estuaries we favour the 0.5 ounce lures . We want to keep the lure off the bottom so the tip of the rod will be held high and the return will be a medium speed to keep the lure in the upper column. Often we will see the salmon turn and attack the lure.
We find the Zzinger Perch is an excellent lure for all conditions and particularly turbid waters, while the holographic series Zzingers seem to catch faster on clear water days since they can have that added flash
Another successful technique if your on open water is to jig the Zzinger lure. The salmon will often take the lure on the drop.
If its not in your tackle box you need to experience the success it brings when all else fails.
