The first of my Sponsor’s Yakima Bait 3/8 and 1/2 ounce twitching Jig samples have arrived. The jigs will be used with the new-to-arrive Amundson Outdoors twitching spinning and baitcasting rods.

Last year was the year to learn the twitching jig technique for salmon. I experimented by tying my own 1/2-ounce black head with purple and black marabou. Randy and I got out to our planned location. I used the jig as is, applying short twitching strokes and was rewarded with a Chinook salmon.
